UN Secretary General concerned by some reports “about cruelties in relation to the civilians in Aleppo”
The press service of the UN Secretary General has circulated his comments on the situation in Aleppo. Ban Ki-moon expressed concern about “reports of atrocities against large numbers of civilians, including women and children, in the last hours in Aleppo.” At the same time in the same text states that “to verify these reports, the UN could not”. About which ones manifestations of cruelty it is – it is not specified.
Remember that the residents are taken out from the neighborhoods captured terrorists, and placed in temporary centers. All necessary assistance is provided there to them. The “First channel” repeatedly told about it and showed how it happens. In Aleppo also constantly have humanitarian corridors. And against this background the UN Secretary General makes a statement that causes at least bewilderment.
Less than three weeks later, Ban Ki-moon should leave his post. Earlier, Ban Ki-moon has been criticized for the fact that he very selectively respond to certain events. So, for example, after terrorists repeatedly fired at the school in Aleppo, the press service of the UN Secretary General did not make any statements. He was quiet himself, non reacting to the mass death of children. However, it was not about the messages which it is impossible to check, but about the facts spoken to documentary.
Recall, October 13 as a result of the firing on the terrorists seven schoolchildren were killed, dozens are injured. The UN has not made any statements. Two weeks later, on 27 October, three students killed, 10 injured. And again silence. November 21, again the shells fired by the militants exploded in the school yard. 10 dead, including eight children, more than 70 people were injured. The UN and Ban Ki-moon continued to remain silent. And here today the Secretary General decided to respond to rumors, apparently without any reason.
