North Korea on Sunday launched a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan, the agency Rёnhap with reference to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the armed forces of South Korea.
The rocket launched from the Baikonur North Pyongan Province in 07.55 local time (01.55 MSK). The trajectory of its flight has not been determined.
Yonhap news agency with reference to the representatives of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea reported that the missile refers to the Rodong type. The range of its flight up to 1300 kilometers, experts say.
